Good morning, saints of God,

Today, I want to emphasize the significance of gathering with fellow believers in your local church—not just for the treats at Calvary Cafe after the service but for the meaningful connections made before and during it.

In 1 Corinthians 14:26, Paul reminded the church at Corinth of our weekly gathering purpose. He wrote: ²⁶ What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. 

Paul sought intelligent communication with purpose. In his advice, Paul stated that everything we do as we gather is to build each other up, not tear each other down. So, for the remainder of this week, let me suggest that you pray. Here are some suggestions: Pray for the church gathered, pray that God will speak clearly to His people who have gathered, and then pray God will speak to you and what it is He wants you to do.
