Good morning, friends!
I hope this message finds you well! Today, I want to share some thoughts inspired by Ephesians 4:32, which reminds us to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, just as God forgave us in Christ.
In a world that can often feel divided and unkind, it’s crucial for us as a faith community to lead by example. Here are a few points to consider:
• Practice Kindness: Let’s make a conscious effort to treat each other with kindness. A simple smile or a kind word can brighten someone’s day!
• Embrace Forgiveness: Holding onto grudges only weighs us down. Let’s strive to forgive as we’ve been forgiven.
• Seek Peace: Let’s aim to promote peace in our interactions. Remember, as Paul advises in 1 Thessalonians 5:15, we should always seek to do good to one another.
Embodying these principles can create a more loving and united community. It might not always be easy, but it is essential for our growth in faith and fellowship.
Thank you for sharing this journey with me in these Food for Thought postings. Let’s work together to spread kindness and peace.
Blessings on your faith journey,
Gene
